Professor Dr. Hosham Salim Anead

Professor Hosham Salim Anead received the B.Sc degree in Electrical Engineering, the M.Sc and PhD degrees in Communication and Electronic Engineering from the Electromechanical Engineering Department in 1996, 1999 and 2002, respectively, from the University of Technology, Baghdad, Iraq. Since September 2013 up to now, Dr. Anead occupies the head of Electromechanical Engineering Department in University of Technology. Anead is a member of the Academic Committee for the Research and Development Authority of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals. Prof. Hosham has over 25 peer-reviewed publications and he has two awarded patents. Dr. Hosham has been the recipient of many awards in appreciation of his role in achieving the first rank over the Iraqis engineering colleges assessment in 2018, and the first rank in the laboratories quality assessment. Dr. Anead been awarded the University shield on the Graduation Ceremony 44 for his outstanding achievements. In addition to the many scientific publications, Assistant Prof. Anead has published many scientific books inside and outside of Iraq. Anead has a wide area of research interests both RF Wireless and Electromechanical Applications, include Mobile Communications, Spread Spectrum, Digital Signal Processing, Power Electronics, and Control Systems.
