Mission Statement of the Electromechanical Systems Branch:
The mission of the Electromechanical Systems Branch is to:
Prepare our students for successful careers in the electromechanical systems profession,
Conduct high quality and innovative research, and
Serve the community and industry providing educational and research resources.
For future plans, the branch intends to cover all required courses in system sectors in Iraq, including all industries related to system engineering. Through the communications with Ministry of Industries and related private sector (symposiums, industrial advisory board meeting), the branch developed his courses according to the needs of all system market in Iraq.
For accreditation, the branch plans to have national and international accreditations through hard-working of all faculty and staff. The work includes all accreditation requirements; assessments, portfolios, curriculum, documentation of all the activities, organize all labs, classes, all other facilities to reach the required level of accreditations.

Enter the electromechanical systems engineering profession as practicing engineers and consultants with prominent companies and organizations in diverse areas that related to system engineering.
Pursue graduate education and research at major research universities in electromechanical system engineering, and related fields.
Advance in their chosen fields to supervisory and management positions
Engage in continued learning through professional development
Participate in and contribute to professional societies and community services
